Spend the day alongside local women entrepreneurs sharing their work, stories, and knowledge.

With Fundación En Vía you are invited into women’s homes in the Tlacolula Valley to learn about medicinal plants and their role in daily life, while directly contributing to women’s economic empowerment through responsible tourism.

Experience a traditional healing practice and temazcal, share a homemade meal together, and gain insight into healing practices that continue to play an important role in communities today. 

Transportation and a shared homemade meal is included, and all proceeds are reinvested into Fundación En Vía’s work with women entrepreneurs.

At Fundación En Vía, tourism is a tool for impact. We work with women entrepreneurs through interest-free loans, business education, and ongoing support that helps strengthen economic opportunities over time.

Every woman you meet during this experience is part of these programs, meaning your participation becomes part of a larger model of women-led economic empowerment.

Because we work alongside women over many years, you step into experiences built on trust — spending time in real spaces and conversations rather than experiences created for tourism.

Deposits & Payment

• A $50 USD non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation.

• Deposits are charged automatically for online bookings.

• For email or in-person bookings, deposits can be paid via PayPal, card, or cash (Mexican pesos only). Exchange rates may vary.

• The remaining balance must be paid before the tour begins. En Vía reserves the right to cancel bookings with unpaid balances.

If you cancel, your deposit may be:

• Applied to a future tour within 1 year

• Donated to support En Vía’s work

• Exchanged for an En Vía t-shirt or tote bag

Refund Policy (Excluding Deposit)

If the full tour fee has already been paid:

• More than 15 days before the tour: 50% refund

• 2–15 days before the tour: 30% refund

• Less than 48 hours or no-show: No refund (treated as a donation)

Once a tour has started, no refunds will be given for unused services.

Changes & Force Majeure

While changes are unlikely, En Vía may make minor adjustments if necessary and will notify participants as soon as possible.
No compensation will be provided for cancellations or changes due to force majeure, including blockades, protests, weather, or other circumstances beyond En Vía’s control.

Traveling with Children

• Children under 2: Free (1 per family)

• Additional children under 2: Must pay

• Ages 4–12: Child rate $55 USD

• Ages 13+: Adult rate $90 USD
