A hands-on workshop experience (different from our Day of the Dead tours)

✨Experience the beginning of Day of the Dead in Oaxaca through one of its most meaningful traditions.✨

In Teotitlán del Valle, you’ll spend the day with Erica, an En Vía woman entrepreneur and baker, joining her in the kitchen for a hands-on Pan de Muerto workshop.

Together, you’ll learn how the bread is prepared and shaped, and about its meaning as part of Día de Muertos offerings. You’ll make your own pan de muerto to take home while sharing stories about how the season is celebrated in Erica’s family and community.

The experience also includes a traditional home-cooked meal and time to connect with Erica and her family.

CANCELATION POLICY

All Day of the Dead experiences with Fundación En Vía are non-refundable and non-transferable once confirmed.

Due to the nature of the celebrations, coordination with participating families, and very limited spaces, we are unable to offer refunds or changes.

Waitlist bookings: 100% payment is required at booking.

Public bookings: 50% deposit at booking, 50% before the experience.
