Experience the celebrations come to a close, as families begin to say goodbye to their loved ones.

In Teotitlán del Valle, you’ll be welcomed into the home of an En Vía woman entrepreneur and spend the afternoon accompanying her through the day’s traditions. Around mid-afternoon, families mark the departure of the souls, shaping the rhythm of the experience. The day may move between time in the home, visits within the community, and time at the cemetery, where families gather to decorate graves and spend time together.

Teotitlán del Valle, known as the “Land of the Gods,” is widely recognised for its weaving traditions that continue to shape daily life. Families combine artisan work with household and community responsibilities, maintaining strong links between tradition and present-day life.

This experience offers a balanced and meaningful perspective on this important transition within the celebration.

All tour fees directly support En Vía’s interest-free loans and business education programs for women entrepreneurs.

CANCELATION POLICY

All Day of the Dead experiences with Fundación En Vía are non-refundable and non-transferable once confirmed.

Due to the nature of the celebrations, coordination with participating families, and very limited spaces, we are unable to offer refunds or changes.

Waitlist bookings: 100% payment is required at booking.

Public bookings: 50% deposit at booking, 50% before the experience.
