Experience the celebrations come to a close, as families begin to say goodbye to their loved ones.

In San Marcos Tlapazola, you’ll be welcomed by an En Vía woman entrepreneur and spend the day accompanying her through this more reflective moment of the celebration. The day unfolds between time in the home, visits to other families, and shared moments in the community.

You may visit the cemetery, where graves are decorated with flowers and offerings, and where families return to sit, share food, and mark the departure of the souls.

San Marcos Tlapazola is known for its red clay pottery, handmade entirely using traditional techniques passed down through generations. This work remains a central part of daily life and cultural identity.

As the day unfolds, you’ll witness how remembrance continues through presence, offerings, and shared time.

Our Day of the Dead tours offer an intimate and authentic cultural exchange, centred on one woman, her family, and her community. Rather than following a fixed itinerary, the experience moves with the natural rhythm of the day.

All tour fees directly support En Vía’s interest-free loans and business education programs for women entrepreneurs.

CANCELATION POLICY

All Day of the Dead experiences with Fundación En Vía are non-refundable and non-transferable once confirmed.

Due to the nature of the celebrations, coordination with participating families, and very limited spaces, we are unable to offer refunds or changes.

Waitlist bookings: 100% payment is required at booking.

Public bookings: 50% deposit at booking, 50% before the experience.
