✨Experience the magic of Día de los Muertos in Oaxaca from the very beginning, as families prepare their homes to welcome loved ones back.✨
Tuesday, 3rd November
11:30 am - 6:30 pm
Experience the days following Día de los Muertos, as communities continue gathering and spending time together.
In San Marcos Tlapazola, you'll spend the day with her as families continue to visit one another, share meals, and spend time together. The experience becomes more relaxed and open, offering a window into daily life in the community as the celebrations draw to a close. This is a softer, communal continuation of the festival, where convivencia and daily life return side by side.
San Marcos Tlapazola is known for its red clay pottery, handmade entirely using traditional techniques passed down through generations. This work remains a central part of daily life and cultural identity.
